Hwy 1/Hwy 169 tree clearing to start Nov. 15

DULUTH, Minn. –The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting tree clearing work on Highway 1/Highway 169 south of Tower on Nov. 15. Motorists should expect shoulder and lane closures in work areas. Clearing work is to prevent ice buildup due to trees shading the roadway.
