Public invited Dec. 6 to learn about Hwy 218 reconstruction project in Blooming Prairie
BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an in-person public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 6 to learn more about a project to reconstruct Highway 218 in Blooming Prairie, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Join us any time from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Blooming Prairie City Hall, 138 Hwy Ave. S., Blooming Prairie, MN 55917. At these events, we’ll share the final design details and provide updates on construction.
People unable to attend the in-person meeting can view the final design and share comments or questions via the project website.
MnDOT is planning to reconstruct Highway 218 through Blooming Prairie. The project will include adding new pavement, enhancing accessibility, installing new sidewalks and improving safety at the Highway 218 and 1st St. NE intersection. Construction is scheduled for 2025.
