Public invited Jan. 8 to learn about Hwy 19 roundabout near Lonsdale
LONSDALE, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an in-person public meeting on Monday, Jan. 8 to learn more about a project to build a roundabout at Highway 19 and Rice County Road 2, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Join us any time from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 at the IC Civic Center, 202 Alabama St. SE, Lonsdale, MN 55406. People attending the meeting can learn more about the design updates, as well as construction information. The meeting is drop-in style, so no formal presentation is planned. People may visit and leave at their convenience. If you are unable to attend, you will be able to find information from the public meeting at the project website beginning on the meeting date.
The new Highway 19 roundabout at County Road 2 will be constructed in 2025 north of Lonsdale to improve intersection safety and traffic mobility.
