Public meeting for Hwy120/Century Avenue study scheduled Jan. 30
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) invites the community to a public meeting to learn about potential improvements on Highway 120/Century Avenue between Interstate 94 in Maplewood and I-694 in Oakdale.
This in-person meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Ave. N. We have gathered input from area residents, businesses, and government stakeholders along Highway 120 and now we want to share how we incorporated the feedback.
Attendees will have an opportunity to review the proposed road improvement concepts and share feedback with the project team. There will be no formal presentation, so attendees can arrive and leave at any time.
This six-mile stretch of Highway 120 is getting old and is scheduled to be repaired in a few years. Since 2020, MnDOT has been studying and identifying issues, priorities, and environmental concerns on this section of the highway that will help address safety concerns and other highway-related issues.
For those unable to attend the public meeting, a presentation will be posted after the meeting on the project website: mndot.gov/metro/projects/hwy120study/.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, foreign language interpreter or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
