MnDOT reduces load limit on Hwy 87 in Hubbard County
BEMIDJI, Minn. –The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reduced the load limit at the following locations to seven tons beginning Thursday, February 29 until further notice.
- Hwy 87 from east junction of Hubbard CR 6 to Hwy 64
- Hwy 87 from Hwy 71 to west junction of Hubbard CR 6
The load limit reduction is due to a weak base and poor pavement condition.

MnDOT will report seasonal load limit start and end dates on its 24-hour automated message center at 1-800-723-6543 for the U.S. and Canada, and locally at 651-366-5400 for the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
