MnDOT to host March 26 public meeting for Highway 169 Jordan-Shakopee improvement project
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host a March 26 in-person meeting to discuss the 2024 Highway 169 Jordan-Shakopee improvement project.
The public meeting is 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the SCALE Regional Public Safety Training Facility, 17706 Valley View Dr. in Jordan.
MnDOT officials will be available to offer information and answer questions. Scott County officials will also be at the meeting to provide information about the adjacent Highway 169/Bluff Drive overpass project in Sand Creek Township. There will be no formal presentation at this open house-style meeting.
If you can’t attend the in-person meeting, a virtual presentation will be posted on the project webpage following the meeting at mndot.gov/metro/projects/hwy169jordan-shakopee/.
Crews plan on construction to last from spring through fall 2024. During that time, crews will repave and repair Highway 169 between Highway 21 in Jordan and Marystown Road in Shakopee. They will also build new medians and J-turns to eliminate left turns onto Highway 169. These improvements will remove high-risk movements and improve safety. When construction begins, motorists will encounter lane closures. Access to all residences and businesses will be maintained.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print) for this event, please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720. Please request at least one week in advance.
