MnDOT to host second public meeting for Hwy 33 intersection study in Cloquet
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on Thursday, May 9, to focus on two Hwy 33 intersections in Cloquet: Carlton Avenue and Cloquet Avenue/Hwy 45. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Cloquet Middle School cafeteria, 2001 Washington Ave., Cloquet.
After gathering feedback on alternatives and analyzing traffic and safety data, MnDOT will share information gathered since the last public meeting and the recommended alternatives for both intersections. MnDOT has a project planned in 2028 along the Hwy 33 corridor from Big Lake Road/Doddridge Avenue to the St. Louis River bridge. There will be a brief presentation and time to ask questions.
