Watonwan rest area building near St. James temporarily closed for improvements May 13-17
MANKATO, Minn. – The Watonwan rest area located along Highway 60 near St. James will be closed May 13-17 as improvements are made to the facility, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Improvements to the building include installing water efficient toilets, a new ADA accessible drinking fountain with bottle filler, and general maintenance improvements.
Although the rest area building will be closed, the rest area parking lots will remain open.
