I-35 ramp closures for Twin Ports Interchange project

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation to close ramps in the Twin Ports Interchange project area.

The ramp from southbound Garfield Avenue onto the I-535 Blatnik Bridge will close from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. This closure is needed to complete bridge work over the ramp.
The on-ramp from 27th Avenue West to northbound I-35 will close beginning Monday, June 3. This closure is needed to complete the final phase of northbound I-35 construction from 27th Avenue West to the southbound I-535 ramp. It is anticipated this closure will last through Tuesday, July 2.

Additional closures are likely to occur in the Twin Ports Interchange project area throughout the coming weeks.
