Watch for night work on Hwy 10 in west Elk River June 3–7
ST. CLOUD, Minn.— Those who travel overnight on Hwy 10 through west Elk River can expect lane closures between Upland Avenue and Proctor Avenue the week of June 3, reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Hwy 10 will be reduced to a single lane in both directions as crews work on the signal systems at the intersections of Upland Avenue and Proctor Avenue. The work will occur each overnight between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. All lanes to be open by 6 a.m., Friday, June 7.
MnDOT advises travelers to slow down and be prepared to stop as crews adjust and update the signal systems. Watch for heavy equipment and workers, especially at night when sight distances lessen.
