  • Academic Search™ Premier additional intranet content (available online to Minnesota residents via ELM) (Interactive Tutorial)
    Academic Search™ Premier contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,500 journals, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

    This site provides a repository consisting of findings from the evaluation and testing of new and/or proprietary, engineered transportation products.

    The ASCE Library provides online access to a high-quality collection of civil engineering content. It contains articles from ASCE journals, papers from conference proceedings, and e-books and standards.

    The ASTM DOT Compass Portal provides MnDOT employees with a single point of unlimited, department-wide access for online searching of ASTM standards and select AASHTO publications, including specs in the Materials Book.
  • GreenFILE ™ additional intranet content (available online to Minnesota residents via ELM) (Interactive Tutorial)
    GreenFILE is a free research database covering the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and governments and what can be done at each level to minimize negative impacts. It provides thousands of open access full-text records from scholarly, government and general interest sources.

  • NUsearch
    NUsearch is a comprehensive search of all of Northwestern University Libraries’ vast resources of over 6 million items. This includes all of the Transportation Library’s print (books, journal articles, etc.) and electronic resources, subscription databases, and everything in our collection of over 600,000 items.
  • PATH (Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways)
    California Partners For Advanced Transit And Highways (PATH) California PATH was established in 1986. It is administered by the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS), University of California, Berkeley, in collaboration with Caltrans. PATH is a multi-disciplinary program with staff, faculty and students from universities statewide, and cooperative projects with private industry, state and local agencies, and non-profit institutions.

    The TRB RiP database contains about 2,000 records of research projects sponsored by the departments of transportation in the fifty states.
  • Research Needs Statements (TRB)
    An important function of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) is to stimulate research that addresses concerns, issues, or problems facing the transportation community. In support of this function, TRB Technical Activities standing committees identify, develop, and disseminate research need statements (RNS) for use by practitioners, researchers, and others. The RNS on this website have been developed by the technical committees.

  • TRID - The TRIS and IRTD Database
    TRID is a newly integrated database that combines the records from TRB's Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) Database and the OECD's Joint Transport Research Centre’s International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) Database. TRID provides access to over 900,000 records of transportation research worldwide.
  • Transport Database additional intranet content(MnDot employees only on iHUB)
    Transport Database is a reference citation database of transportation research information. It is produced by the 25-nation Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), headquartered in Paris, together with the United States Transportation Research Board (TRB) and the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT).

    TranStats provides updated data, graphs and charts on nationwide transportation statistics.
