2026 Concrete Ready-Mix Plant Monitor Training Class

Description

This course covers the duties and responsibilities of a concrete plant monitor including changes to Specification 2461 and the 2023 Schedule of Materials Control. 

Learning objectives

When completed, the participants will be better able to understand the roles and responsibilities of both Producer QC personnel and Agency Plant Monitors.

Audience

This course is intended for consultant, county, city, and state personnel who perform or will be performing QA concrete plant monitoring this year. Lab and field personnel who interface with the monitors are also welcome. This is an in-person class and space is limited.

This class is not intended for producers.

Fee

There is a $50 fee for this course. Lunch is provided.

Cost accounting (for MnDOT employees)

JV payments should be made into: 2000/T7936554/T791498/T00501/0600 Rev Account 513304. MnDOT employees will use activity code 0600 on their timesheet for this class.

Compensatory time

Employees who are subject to overtime should note that all non-assigned training is voluntary and that the total state time is not to exceed the regular scheduled workday.

All classes are in person. You may register for any of the dates/locations, but you may find it helpful to attend the session with others in your geographical area.

Registration for MnDOT employees

Obtain your supervisor’s approval, then contact your Training Representative to register for the class. Employees must include the Journal Voucher Transfer Form (PDF) when submitting the registration request to the Training Representative. TDS - submit Journal Voucher transfer and include JV number when registering in Pathlore.

Cancellation

To cancel, notify Lisa Bilotta, 651-366-5500, at least five days before class. Substitutions are allowed.
