About this project
Crews will replace the signal systems at the interchange of Hwy 169 and Betty Crocker Dr. on the border of Plymouth, St. Louis Park and Golden Valley. The project includes a new sidewalk along the north side of Betty Crocker Dr. between the east ramp at Hwy 169 and Ford Rd., west of Hwy 169. The new accessible sidewalk will replace one lane of westbound traffic of the Betty Crocker Dr. bridge crossing Hwy 169.
The project will also eliminate the yield/free right turn lane from the ramp/loops at both signals at Hwy 169 and Betty Crocker Dr. and new guardrail also will be installed as part of the project.
Summary of work
- Replace aging signal systems at the interchange of Hwy 169 and Betty Crocker Dr.
- Build an ADA-compliant sidewalk/bike lane on the north side of Betty Crocker Dr.
- Eliminate the yield/free right turn lane from the ramp/loops at both signals at Hwy 169 and Betty Crocker Dr.
