Highway 115 Randall to Camp Ripley closes, detours to replace pipes June 10–19
BAXTER, Minn. – Motorists who travel on Highway 115 between Randall and Camp Ripley will encounter the road closed and detoured to work beneath the road June 10–19, advises to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Highway 115 will close from east of Highway 10 in Randall to the Mississippi River bridge, east of Morrison County Road 213. Motorists will follow a signed detour along Highway 10 in Randall and Morrison County Road 76 (Haven Road) in Little Falls, back to Highway 115 in Camp Ripley.
Highway 115 will remain open to those who live, work or visit those along the work zone; however, expect changes and use of alternate accesses. Hard closures will occur to replace four drainage pipes (Figure 1) at:
- East of 95th Avenue
- East of County Road 208
- East of County Road 13
- West of County Road 213
Follow signs and enter/exit the nearest to your destination to avoid delays. Crews anticipate the work to take up to eight days. All lanes will reopen by Wednesday, June 19.
The work is part of a larger project that began on June 3rd to resurface and improve eight miles of Highway 115 from Randall to Camp Ripley.
When complete in late July, travelers will benefit from a smoother road surface, improved drainage and improved safety for motorists and pedestrians.
