UPDATE: Hwy14 near Lamberton reopens
WILLMAR, Minn. – (9:15 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reopened Highway 14 east of Lamberton, between Impala Avenue and Jade Avenue. It had been closed since June 23 due to flooding.
A summary of state highways that have or have had water on the roadway in southwest Minnesota during the past week follows.
- REOPENED: Highway 14, east of Lamberton, between Impala Avenue and Jade Avenue.
- Highway 14, west side of Tyler: a small amount of water remains on the roadway, slow down and use caution.
- Highway 30 between Dovray and Westbrook: water has receded.
- Highway 59, south of Marshall, southbound lane: water has receded.
- Highway 91 in Chandler: water has receded.
Crews will continue to monitor road conditions throughout southwest Minnesota. The public is advised to check www.511mn.org for flood advisories and road closures before traveling.
