Highway 23 detour between Askov and Sandstone starts July 8

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be detouring Highway 23 between Askov and Sandstone starting on July 8 for pavement resurfacing work. The road will be closed between Askov and the Kettle River. This detour will direct motorists to take County Road 142 to Highway 123 to Highway 23.
Bridge work over I-35 that previously required a detour is complete.
