I-35 work through Duluth tunnels starts July 8

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting a concrete resurfacing project on I-35 through the Duluth tunnels on July 8. Motorists can expect lane closures between 5th Avenue West and 21st Avenue East when project work begins.

Later in the summer, ramp closures will be required at Lake Avenue/Michigan Street on southbound I-35. This project is part of a two-year project with concrete pavement repairs and bridge work in the Duluth section of I-35.
