Interstate 35 lane restrictions in Forest Lake area begin July 29
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Southbound Interstate 35 will be reduced to a single lane from a half mile north of Highway 8 to Highway 8 starting at 9 a.m., Monday, July 29, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The road will be restricted for approximately two weeks for concrete repair work. However, crews will reopen both lanes each Sunday for weekend traffic.
In addition, northbound I-35 from the I-35 split to Broadway Avenue will be reduced to a single lane from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5. Southbound I-35 from Broadway Avenue to the I-35 split also will be reduced to a single lane from 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present.
