Interstate 35 lane restrictions in Forest Lake rescheduled to begin (today) July 26
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Interstate 35 will be reduced to a single lane in various locations in the Forest Lake area for concrete repair work according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, July 26 through 10 a.m. Sunday, July 28, southbound I-35 will be reduced to a single lane between Broadway Avenue and the I-35 split. Later that evening at 10 p.m. Friday, July 26 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 29, northbound I-35 will also be reduced to a single lane in that same location.
In addition, southbound I-35 will be reduced to a single lane from a half mile north of Highway 8 to Highway 8 starting at 9 a.m., Monday, July 29. This section of road will have lane restrictions for approximately two weeks. However, crews will reopen both lanes each Sunday for weekend traffic.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. southbound I-35 from Broadway Avenue to the I-35 split will be reduced to a single lane. Northbound I-35 between the I-35 split and Broadway Avenue also will be reduced to a single lane from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present.
