Delano community invited to participate in Highway 12 online open house
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the traveling public, area residents and businesses in Delano to an online open house for Highway 12 to provide feedback and learn more about an ongoing study of the area.
The online open house will run July. 29–Sept. 3 and includes a survey where the public can view and rate corridor alternatives and place comments on an interactive map.
MnDOT is identifying potential improvements for motorists and pedestrians along Highway 12 to be added to a future 2030 resurfacing project between Bridge Avenue and County Road 139 in Delano. The cost of the project is estimated at $20 million.
As part of this study, MnDOT is looking at ways to manage access along the corridor to reduce crashes, improve safety and improve traffic flow along Highway 12 in Delano. Input from the public will help develop future improvements in Delano.
