I-35 single lane closures at Twin Ports Interchange

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation to close single lanes on northbound I-35 through the Twin Ports Interchange project area.

Thursday, Aug. 1: Northbound I-35 traffic will undergo temporary mobile lane closures from 27th Avenue West to Garfield Avenue between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Important reminders for motorists regarding work zone safety:

Slow down when approaching every work zone, then navigate through with care and caution.
Stay alert; work zones constantly change.
Watch for workers and slow-moving equipment.
Obey posted speed limits. Fine for a violation in a work zone is $300.
Minimize distractions behind the wheel.
Be patient; expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
