Highway 71 Wadena closes, detours overnight Aug. 4–5
BAXTER, Minn. – Those who travel overnight on Highway 71 in Wadena can expect a short-term delay and detour as maintenance crews work at the railroad crossing Aug. 4–5, reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Highway 71 will close between Highway 10 and Highway 29/Colfax Avenue at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, until 4 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5. Motorists will follow a detour along Highway 29/Colfax Avenue, 2nd Street South/Wadena County Road 20 and Highway 10.
