Public meeting set for Aug. 20 for Hwy 30 resurfacing and roadway improvement project in Stewartville
STEWARTVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, Aug. 20, to learn more about an upcoming construction project on Highway 30 in Stewartville, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). The project is tentatively planned for summer 2027.
The open house-style meeting will be held in-person from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Stewartville Civic Center at 105 1st St. E., Stewartville, MN 55976. A presentation will be given by the project team at 5 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming changes and ask questions.
MnDOT’s planned work includes repaving .5 miles of Hwy 30 from Hwy 63 to 5th Ave. NE in Stewartville and replacing the traffic signal at intersection of Hwy 30 and Hwy 63, as well as improving pedestrian facilities on both sides of Hwy 30 and improving accessibility of sidewalks and driveways.
