I-35E directional closures between Little Canada and Columbus begin Aug. 9
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation there will be two weekends of directional closures on Interstate 35E between Little Canada and Columbus for concrete repair work.
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, northbound I-35E will be closed and detoured between I-694 and I-35E/I-35W split. Motorists will be directed to northbound I-35W for their detour.
The following weekend, southbound I-35E from I-35E/I-35W split to I-694 will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Motorists will be detoured to southbound I-35W.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present.
