I-35 single lane closures, I-535 Blatnik Bridge full closure

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close single lanes in both directions on I-35 and fully close the I-535 Blatnik Bridge as part of the Twin Ports Interchange project.

I-35 single lane closures will occur in both directions between 27th Avenue West and Garfield Avenue on Wednesday, August 14, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The I-535 Blatnik Bridge closure originally scheduled for August 15-16, has been rescheduled for August 19-20. The Blatnik Bridge will close from 6 a.m. Monday, August 19, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 20. This closure is needed to complete final bypass connections providing direct access to/from northbound and southbound I-35.
