MnDOT needs your feedback on the future of Hwy 252 intersections

ROSEVILLE, Minn. —The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting two community meetings in August to gather feedback on the options of some key intersections of Highway 252 in Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 5-8 p.m. at Discover Church, 1400 81st Ave. N in Brooklyn Park. The intersections being discussed during this meeting include 85th Avenue, Brookdale Drive and 73rd Avenue.

The second meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 5-8 p.m. at Brooklyn Center Community Center (Constitution Hall room), 6301 Shingle Creek Pkwy. in Brooklyn Center. The intersections being discussed during this meeting include 73rd Avenue, 70th Avenue and 66th Avenue.

Both meetings will explore the considerations of having Highway 252 intersect above or below the local roads. The feedback gathered will be instrumental in shaping these key areas of the community.

Participants can expect each meeting to begin with a light meal and a presentation. Following the presentation, community members will be invited to talk with project staff to share feedback using comment cards.
