UPDATE: Hansel Lake rest area closure rescheduled to Aug. 20 due to weather
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Due to today’s rainy weather, the closure of the Hansel Lake Rest Area on westbound Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls will be rescheduled to Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. to noon, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The entrance to the rest area will be blocked while maintenance crews make repairs to the pavement.
The rest area will reopen when the repairs are completed.
