Rescheduled: Crews begin Highway 13 shoulder project on Aug. 21
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Highway 13 lane closures scheduled to begin Aug. 19 have been rescheduled to Aug. 21, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
From 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Wednesday, Aug. 21 to Friday, Aug. 23, workers will intermittently close portions of one eastbound and one westbound Highway 13 lane. Crews will also need to close some locations overnight.
Crews will work on eastbound Highway 13 between Washburn Avenue and I-35W; westbound Highway 13 between I-35W and Dakota Avenue.
Then, beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23 through 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, crews will close the eastbound Highway 13 to southbound I-35W ramp and the southbound I-35W to westbound Highway 13 ramp. Motorists should use the other I-35W loop ramps as the detour.
Crews are installing 28 concrete storm drains and 21 bus lane signs.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change.
