I-535 Blatnik Bridge/Garfield Avenue ramp closures Aug. 26-Oct. 18
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the northbound/southbound ramps to/from Garfield Avenue at the I-535 Blatnik Bridge from Aug. 26. to Oct. 18, as part of the Twin Ports Interchange project.
- A northbound detour will follow the new bypass connection from I-535 to northbound I-35, to 5th Avenue West, to Railroad Street, to Garfield Avenue.
- Southbound traffic will access the I-535 Blatnik Bridge from the new bypass connections at northbound and southbound I-35.
