Public meeting set for Sept. 10 for Hwy 14 resurfacing and roadway improvement projects in Rochester
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, Sept. 10, to learn more about upcoming construction projects on Highway 14 in Rochester, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The open house-style meeting will be held in-person from 5-7 p.m. at Aune Hall in Graham Park at 112 Arena Drive SE, Rochester, MN 55904. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming projects’ construction timelines and design and ask questions.
MnDOT’s planned work includes two projects. Resurfacing of the Hwy 14 corridor in Rochester from Hwy 52 to Crossroads Drive SW and from 3rd Avenue SE to Marion Road SE/15th Avenue SE is scheduled for 2025. In 2027, safety improvements for the intersection of Hwy 14 and Broadway Avenue are planned for construction.
Individuals unable to attend can review the projects and provide feedback on-line, and sign up for project updates.
