Lane closures on Highway 29 in Alexandria Sept. 3-6
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—Starting Tuesday, Sept. 3, weather permitting, motorists will encounter short-term lane closures along Highway 29 in Alexandria, between Eighth Avenue and Interstate 94, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
rews will be performing soil investigations and drilling in various locations in preparation for future construction planned in 2028.
The work is expected to wrap up on Friday, Sept. 6.
