Detour for northbound Hwy 15 pavement repairs south of Winthrop begins Sept. 4

MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists traveling on northbound Highway 15 south of Winthrop can expect a detour starting Wednesday, Sept. 4 for approximately three days as crews make repairs to the pavement, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Southbound Highway 15 near Winthrop will remain open to traffic.

Northbound Highway 15 will be closed at the junction of Highway 19 to 551st Avenue. Traffic will be detoured to 551st Avenue, Sibley Street South, Redwood Street North, and Highway 19 until the work is complete.
