Crews to open all Hwy 169 lanes between Jordan and Shakopee on Sept. 13
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – At 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, crews will reopen all Hwy 169 lanes and intersections between Hwy 21 in Jordan and Marystown Road in Shakopee, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews may still need to complete some wrap-up work that results in shoulder closures, such as landscaping and off-road clean-up.
In early May, workers reduced Hwy 169 to one northbound and one southbound lane, and limited access at certain intersections, during an improvement project. In August, crews opened lanes to weekend traffic.
Crews repaved and repaired Hwy 169 between Hwy 21 in Jordan and Marystown Road in Shakopee. They also built new medians and J-turns to eliminate left turns onto Hwy 169. These improvements remove high-risk movements and improve safety.
