I-35 and Hwy 2 ramp closures to occur in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be conducting routine bridge inspections next week on I-35 and Highway 2 in Duluth.
On Monday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., the southbound I-35 ramp to Highway 2/Bong Bridge will close. Traffic will be detoured to Central Avenue and back to I-35 northbound to the Bong Bridge. Motorists can take I-535/Blatnik Bridge as an alternate route.
On Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., the westbound Highway 2 ramp off of the Bong Bridge to northbound I-35 will close. Traffic will be detoured to continue on 46th Avenue West to West 1st Street to 40th Avenue West to northbound I-35.
