Highway 32 project northeast of Red Lake Falls begins Tuesday, Oct. 8
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 32 northeast of Red Lake Falls, Red Lake County, will encounter roadwork as crews begin construction Oct. 8, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists can expect a detour using Red Lake County roads 13 and 19. When complete in late-October, the project will improve the drainage of Highway 32 northeast of Red Lake Falls near the Red Lake River. MnDOT advises motorists to avoid distractions and drive with caution in the work zone.

Slow down when approaching every work zone, then navigate through with care and caution.
- Stay alert; work zones constantly change.
- Watch for workers and slow-moving equipment.
- Obey posted speed limits. Fine for a violation in a work zone is $300.

- Be patient; expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
