New eastbound I-94 ramp closures in Washington County begin Oct. 15
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter new ramp closures as part of the pavement resurfacing on Interstate 94 in Woodbury starting Oct. 15, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
First, construction crews will reopen the eastbound I-94 entrance and exit ramps at Woodbury Drive/Keats Avenue North at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. These ramps have been closed to traffic since late September.
Then starting at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the following eastbound I-94 ramps will be closed until the middle of November for repaving:
- Eastbound I-94 to Radio Drive/Inwood Avenue North. Motorists can bypass this ramp closure using eastbound I-94, Woodbury Drive, westbound I-94, and Radio Drive/Inwood Avenue North.
- Radio Drive/Inwood Avenue North to eastbound I-94. Motorists can bypass this ramp closure using Radio Drive/Inwood Avenue North, Hudson Road, Woodbury Drive, and eastbound I-94.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
MnDOT is resurfacing the pavement and making other improvements to I-94 between Highway 120/Century Avenue and the St. Croix River through fall 2024. The work will improve safety, traffic flow and ride smoothness.
