The repairs to the Highway 71 railroad bridge near Sanborn have been postponed by the Canadian Pacific Railroad and will not occur on Nov. 4-8. It’s undetermined at this time when the repairs will occur.
Hwy 71 near Sanborn closed for railroad bridge work starting Nov. 4
MANKATO, Minn. The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises motorists that Highway 71 near Sanborn will be closed Nov. 4-8, weather permitting, as the Canadian Pacific Railroad makes repairs to the railroad bridge.
The railroad bridge was hit and damaged earlier this year. Highway 71 will be closed as crews make repairs to the bridge.
Motorists will be detoured to Highway 14, Brown County Roads 2 and 21, and Redwood County Road 11.
