Public meeting on November 19 for the Highway 3/South Robert Street study in West St. Paul
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the community to attend a Nov. 19 public meeting to share feedback on concepts for improving safety and connectivity along Highway 3/South Robert Street in West St. Paul.
The meeting will be held in person 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Wentworth Library, 199 Wentworth Ave. E., West St. Paul. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the concepts, share feedback and ask questions of the study team. There is no formal presentation and the public is invited to stop by anytime.
If members of the public are unable to attend the meeting, they can provide feedback using an online survey until Tuesday, Nov. 26. For more information about this study, or to sign up for email updates, visit mndot.gov/metro/projects/southrobertstreet.
MnDOT started a study in February 2024 to identify possible improvements to safety and connectivity for people who walk, bike, use transit and drive. This section of South Robert Street was reconstructed in 2015-2016 to improve transportation mobility, access management and safety. Despite those improvements, the section of roadway has seen continued safety concerns for users.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to ADArequest@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
