Emergency repairs, resurfacing planned for Hwy 5/West 7th Street in St. Paul on Tuesday, Nov. 5
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will make emergency repairs and resurface Highway 5/West 7th Street in St. Paul between Davern Street and Wheeler Street from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. During the work, maintenance crews will restrict traffic to a single lane in each direction. At the same time, the traffic signals at the intersection of Highway 5/West 7th Street will be in flashing red mode and controlled by flaggers.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid congestion or delays.
The emergency work is in advance of two projects to improve safety and mobility on the highway between Muster Ave. and St. Clair Ave. in 2028 and between St. Clair Ave. and Olive St. in 2029.
