MnDOT to host public meeting for Hwy 73 corridor study in Chisholm
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m. in the Chisholm Senior Center, 319 W. Lake St., to gather input on the Hwy 73 corridor study through Chisholm.
The Hwy 73 study stretches from Hwy 169 to the intersection of W. Lake Street and 3rd Avenue and will look at safety, pedestrian and bicycle needs, traffic flow and accesses along the corridor. The goal of this meeting is to gather input from people who live, work, go to school or travel along the road. This input will help MnDOT and local agencies understand the needs and preferences of the community. While no project is currently planned along this corridor, this study will inform on future improvement projects to address existing and future concerns along the corridor. Additional opportunities for public input will be provided as the study continues.
For those unable to attend the public meeting in person, materials will be posted to the project website at mndot.gov/d1/projects/hwy73-chisholm-corridor.
