Hwy 45/210 Corridor Study open house canceled due to weather, rescheduled for March 26
DULUTH, Minn. –The Minnesota Department of Transportation is canceling the Highway 45/210 Corridor Study open house planned for Thursday, March 12, at the Carlton Fire and Ambulance building (100 Fourth St., Carlton, MN 55718). The National Weather Service is forecasting the potential for heavy snowfall and strong winds Thursday evening. While the forecast may still change, MnDOT is prioritizing the safety of participants, staff and community members who would be traveling to the event.
MnDOT has rescheduled the open house to be held at the same location on March 26.
The event schedule will include:
- 4:30–5:30 p.m. — A discussion with businesses and freight users about how they use the corridor.
- 5:30 p.m. — A public open house with MnDOT staff and consultants available to answer questions and gather feedback, including a brief presentation at 5:45 p.m.
The Hwy 45/210 Corridor Study aims to develop a shared vision and guidance for improving safety and efficiency for all users ahead of two resurfacing projects tentatively planned for 2035. More information is available at: https://talk.dot.state.mn.us/highway-45-and-highway-210-corridor-study.
