Road work begins April 27 on Highway 75 south of Moorhead
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.— On Monday, April 27, weather permitting, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin a project to resurface Highway 75 south of Moorhead between 46th Avenue and the County Road 12/60th Avenue roundabout.
Work will take place under traffic and a detour will not be required. Motorists, however, should expect to encounter daily lane closures, flagging operations and pilot car. Drivers are asked to slow down in the work zone, obey traffic control, and be alert for workers and equipment.
The project is expected to be complete by mid-June. Work includes resurfacing, replacing entrance culverts, ditch cleaning and minor sidewalk upgrades near 50th Avenue. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
Border States Paving, Inc., based in Fargo, is the prime contractor for the $1.4 million project. For more information, visit the project website at mndot.gov/d4/projects/hwy75moorhead-south.
