Technical Certification Center (TCC)
The Technical Certification Center (TCC) is a facility used by the Technical Certification Program (TCP) to train and certify people who test and inspect the materials used on Minnesota roadways and bridges.
Eventually, once the set-up of the facility is complete, when not used for TCP classes and events, the TCC may be reserved for meetings, conferences, and training.
The TCC is connected to the MnDOT Office of Materials and Road Research in Maplewood, MN.
Building
Entrance: North side of building, with blue overhead sign above doors reading MnDOT Technical Certification Center.
Parking: North lot immediately upon entering from Gervais Avenue. If North lot is full, there are designated parking spaces available past the gate. Review parking map for available parking spaces.

Room Overview
Classroom 1 and 2 (Combined)
The dividing wall between Classroom 1 and Classroom 2 can be opened to combine into one large room. Holds up to 90 people in a classroom type setting. For a table style, the room will hold 70-80 people. This room is equipped with a 2 monitors, MS TEAMS Yealink meeting system and laptop connections.
Classroom 1
Holds up to 35 people in a classroom setting. Can also be used for breakout meetings or lunchroom. This room is equipped a montior, MS TEAMS Yealink meeting system and laptop connections.
Classroom 2
Holds up to 35 people in a classroom setting. Can also be used for breakout meetings or lunchroom. This room is equipped a montior, MS TEAMS Yealink meeting system and laptop connections.
Conference Room
Holds up to 8 people in a round-table setting. Can be used for small group meetings or video calls. This room is equipped with a monitor, MS TEAMS Yealink meeting system, and laptop connections
Labs
The facility has 3 non-accredited training labs for hands-on practice testing soils, aggregates, concrete, bituminous, and various other materials. These labs are used for TCP certification classes.
