MnDOT will replace the Hwy 27 bridge over a stream, built in 1960, just east of Morrison Co. Rd. 8 and 12 miles west of Onamia. Work requires detour.
Summary of work
- Replace bridge
- Resurface road approaches
- Revise signal approach system at Co. Rd. 8
- Update shoulder barriers/railing and ditch slope
Future impacts
Detour
- Hwy 27 will have a hard closure at bridge between Co. Rd. 8 and 380th Ave.
- Detour uses Morrison Co. Rd. 8 Hillman, Morrison Co. Rd. 21/Mille Lacs Co. Rd. 39 and Hwy 169 Onamia
- Access will be maintained north and south of the bridge closure and locals may want to find alternate routes nearest their destination
