Construction updates/access information will be provided throughout the project. Continue to check back for future updates.
Weeks of May 11 & May 18, 2026
The contractor will continue:
- Placing storm sewer from Lincoln to Brown Street and Elm Street to Cashin Drive
- Placing watermain from Barck Street to South Fairview/Elm Street
- Placing sanitary sewer from Luverne Street to Bishop Street
Access
- To cross Highway 75 use Dodge Street or Adams Avenue
- Coming from the north, use James Street - open to residence south to Cashin Drive/North Fairview Drive
- Cashin Drive may be diverted south to Virginia for a couple of days due to storm sewer installation
- North Fairview may be closed due to utility adjustments
