Traffic impacts
- Aug. 8 - Sept. 20: Hwy 23 down to one lane from 171st St (near Holland) to Hwy 14 (near Florence).
- A flagging operation and pilot car will direct traffic through the work zone.
- Allow extra travel time, use caution, expect delays.
- Florence culvert detour: Detour has been lifted.
- Pipestone bridge detour: Sept. 5 - Nov. 1, traffic detoured to Hwy 75, CR 8 and Hwy 23
Project update
Sep. 20, 2024
- Milling and paving between Florence and Pipestone completed; the road is reduced to one lane, alternating traffic, until striping operations are complete. Allow extra travel time.This work is scheduled to be completed next week, weather pending.
- Detour (with road closure) from Pipestone to Holland to began Sept. 5 for bridge deck replacement. Bridge deck replacement is underway.
