ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN (GREEN SHEET)

All MnDOT-led and MnDOT-let transportation construction projects will have Environmental Management Plans by January 1, 2026. 

  1. Review all environmental commitments in Environmental Management Plan (a section in the plan sheets)
  2. Discuss the requirements at the preconstruction meeting
  3. Contact Technical Contacts whenever there are questions or conflicts regarding environmental commitments
  4. Track commitments throughout construction; add notes and complete verification columns in the spreadsheet version located in ProjectWise: CO_Environmental/Env_MgmtPlan  
  5. Submit as-built Environmental Management Plan during project closeout.
