We are partnering with the city of Jordan and Scott County on a project which will include a new Hwy 169 and Hwy 282/Co. Rd. 9 interchange, two bridges (over Hwy 169 and railroad tracks), two roundabouts, pedestrian tunnel, sidewalks, retaining walls, and noise walls.
Summary of work
Construct new interchange at Hwy 169 and Hwy 282/Co. Rd. 9
Build roundabout at the Co. Rd. 9 and Syndicate St. intersection
Build roundabout at the Co. Rd. 9 and 190th St./Valley View Dr. intersection
Build Co. Rd. 9 bridge over Union Pacific railroad tracks
Widen and repair Hwy 169 bridge over Sand Creek
Add traffic signal at NB Hwy 169 exit ramp and Hwy 282
Build pedestrian tunnel under Hwy 169 and add new trail connections
Construct Hwy 169 acceleration and deceleration lanes
Build stormwater improvements
Create retaining walls along various areas of the project
Add noise walls on both sides of Hwy 169, north of Syndicate St. and Creek Lane
