- Research reports, manuals and guidebooks for a wide range of transportation-related research projects funded through and administered by the MnDOT Office of Research & Innovation and the Local Road Research Board.
- Research summaries, two-page briefs highlighting the purpose, background, and findings of selected research projects.
- Transportation research syntheses that include a literature search and analysis of interviews or surveys about completed and in-progress research, and reports about current practice in departments of transportation (DOTs). The resources found are clearly organized and summarized, with contact names, web links and other specifications.

National and international research
- TRID (Transport Research International Documentation) provides access to more than one million records of transportation research worldwide. It combines the records from the Transportation Research Board's Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) and the OECD’s Joint Transport Research Centre’s International Transport Research Documentation Database (ITRD). - ROSAP (Repository & Open Science Access Portal) of the United States Department of Transportation's National Transportation Library. It is designated as the full-text repository for USDOT-funded research and also includes digital properties for state DOTs and other organizations.
- The Transportation Libraries Group Catalog has transportation-related books and other materials held in government, university and other transportation libraries.
